About this project
This project started as a dim, dated porch closed off from the rest of the home: dark wood paneling, an aging drop ceiling, and finishes that made the space feel like an afterthought.
We took it down to the framing, reinsulated, and rebuilt it with painted shiplap walls, a bright ceiling, and updated lighting. The result is a comfortable, light filled room that now gets used every day, with a wall of windows looking out over the yard.
